| Three new artworks at Reconciliation Place in Canberra were launched on 28th May 2007 to mark the 40th anniversary of the 1967 referendum when indigenous Australians were first granted the right to vote. The new artworks are titled Methalu Tharri; fire and water; and Kwi'ith, Man and Woman Yam. The artists are Victor McGrath, Thanakupi and Judy Watson. |
